How would a dragon see the ocean?
Sometimes, it isn’t easy to comprehend something that has unfathomable depths like the ocean. The closest scenery that can capture the depths of the sea is space. It’s like a deep inky blackness that goes on forever. With an area as vast as the ocean, it is easy to become lost and feel insignificant on its grandeur—a speck of dust, floating among the tides at its whim. Feeling lost among the waves and cold depths.
However…
Upon closer inspection, treasures can be found for those who are adventurous enough to look.
Like a moonless night, some creatures adapt to living in pitch-black darkness. If we could genuinely see how the animals in the ocean can, it would tell a different story. A story of neon lights, stars, upon stars, flickering lights as far as the eye can see. The vast depths might look a bit more like the night sky. Much like ultraviolet light can open up a new world of colors and signs of life where drab, colorless plumage or leaves live, the ocean could hold vast treasures of unknown sights and colors.
